Efficient profile machining

High metal removal rates for machining aluminum billets and profiles. The robust machine design, particularly the stationary machining area, provides optimum efficiency and dynamic simultaneous 5-axis machining. The milling head and spindle combination specially designed for the PBZ HD profile machining center ensures reliable part quality and high accuracy.

Complete machining in one clamping operation

The PBZ HD profile machining center has simultaneous 5-axis capability and enables precise machining without interference contours over the entire workpiece length. All six sides of the part are completely machined in just one clamping operation, including milling, sawing, drilling, tapping, and thread cutting. The raw material or the profile is positioned in the X axis for precise machining in the rigid stationary machining area.

Proven bavius clamping technology

In addition to the proven bavius clamping technology for PBZ machines, the PBZ HD offers further options for efficient workholding:

Customized clamping technology with variable number of vices or table version. Even large and long fixtures can be changed quickly. Optional dovetail workholding solutions are available.

Ergonomics & flexibility

The PBZ HD machine concept has an optimum ergonomic configuration. The 5-axis profile machining center offers both ergonomic access to the workpiece and a very good view into the compact workspace. The flexible machine concept also allows a choice between vices and tables.
